"Kind service. The food tasted good. The decor and setting is definitely from another era. It wasn't busy when we went ( evening) and the seating arrangement allowed for a cosy feeling that's provides privacy and yet still allows one to soak in the ambience of the restaurant. Very good service."

"What happened to this wonderful place. What happened to their good deed of assisting our men and women in blue with a special prized breakfast. What happened to the prices. What happened to the pub lunches. R40 prize increase in 6 months for beef curry and it even tastes awful. What happened to their nice breakfast special now R70 more than 6 months prior. No wonder that since I come here again I have seen approximately 11 people sitting on the veranda eating or drinking something. Coffee is also no more included in the breakfast. In fact there is no coffee no tea no dessert no milkshake no baskets no nothing on the menu anymore. All that is left is a basic 2 sided menu. So sad cause I love this place and the personnel and have been coming here for about 15 years every year."
